These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DocuExtract's services, including our website at docuextract.pro, our API, and all related tools and features. "DocuExtract," "we," "us," or "our" refers to DocuExtract Enterprise.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using DocuExtract, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be legally bound by them. If you are using DocuExtract on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Use of the Service
DocuExtract grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our service in accordance with these Terms.
Permitted Use
- Upload and process documents for data extraction within your credit allowance
- Access extraction results via our dashboard or REST API
- Create and manage extraction schemas for your use cases
- Invite team members to collaborate within your organization
- Integrate DocuExtract into your applications via our API
Service Availability
We target 99.9% uptime on paid plans. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated at least 24 hours in advance. Downtime does not entitle you to a refund unless explicitly covered by an SLA agreement on Professional plans.
3. Accounts & Organizations
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
- One person may not maintain multiple free trial accounts
- Organization admins are responsible for the conduct of all members they invite
- You may not share account credentials with individuals outside your organization
4. Billing & Credits
Subscriptions
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Credits included in your plan reset on each billing cycle and do not roll over.
Credit Top-ups
Credit top-up purchases are non-refundable one-time payments. Top-up credits do not expire as long as your account remains active.
Refunds
We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on first-time plan purchases. After 7 days, subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Unused credits are not refunded upon cancellation.
Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify pricing. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect for existing subscribers.
5. Intellectual Property
Your Content
You retain full ownership of all documents you upload and all structured data extracted from them. You grant DocuExtract a limited license to process your documents solely for the purpose of providing the service.
Our Platform
DocuExtract's software, AI models, APIs, design, trademarks, and documentation are the exclusive property of DocuExtract Enterprise. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of our platform.
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to use DocuExtract to:
- Upload documents containing illegal content or material that violates third-party rights
- Attempt to circumvent credit limits, rate limits, or access controls
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from our website or API beyond normal use
- Resell or redistribute DocuExtract's output as a competing document extraction service
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
- Transmit malware, viruses, or any malicious code
- Attempt to compromise the security or integrity of our infrastructure
- Impersonate DocuExtract or any other person or entity
Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension without refund.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocuExtract and its affiliates, officers, employees, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
8. Termination
You may cancel your account at any time from your billing settings. Upon cancellation, your access will continue until the end of your current billing period.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and without notice if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to the platform or other users.
Upon termination, your data will be retained for 90 days, during which you may request an export. After 90 days, all data associated with your account is permanently deleted.
9. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email and a notice on our website at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You waive any right to a jury trial or class action proceedings.
